The present invention relates to the milking of dairy cows at the rear, in a stall with restricted dimensions. As shown, this stall comprises: 1. The entry door; 2. The exit door; 3. The front with deferred (varied) closing; 4. The rear of the stall with a tilted panel on which a dung-shield is positioned. When the cow is positioned in this stall, she is located side by side, rests on the rear part and advances her legs which gives easy access to the teats. It is not possible for her to kick backwards.
