This invention proposes the construction of a versatile multi-disciplinary hall for sports and for gymnastics which is different from those known today and open simultaneously to sport and cultural events, according to the standards for construction and use of the equipment necessary for their practice, in one only single hall, with adjoining: bathrooms, offices, equipment rooms and reception rooms necessary for its use. On the floor of this hall, the play areas 6, 8 etc. of the team sports are marked out with two practicable areas 9; a location for "gymnastics" spectators is provided as well as jump pits and fixed apparatus which is dismountable or retractable for gymnastics enabling retractable or dismountable tiers to be installed for spectators of team sports, theatre or shows.
