A system for testing articles with random and harmonic vibration comprises a multichannel random signal shaper 1, a tuneable rejection filter 6 connected to the output of the shaper 1; a vibrator 9 connected to the output of the filter 6 through such series-connected components as an adder 7 and a power amplifier 8; first and second tuneable filters 12, 13 and a signal spectrum analyzer connected to the first tuneable filter 13. The system is provided with a variable-frequency harmonic signal generator 18, and controllable divider 16 is arranged so that the level of the harmonic vibrations of the vibrator 9 is kept at a predetermined level. Outputs of divider 16 are sent to comparator 21 whose output signal is dependent on the frequency response of the vibrator; these signals reach computer 23 which controls the gains of controllable amplifiers 4 in accordance with information on the amplitude frequency response of each channel of the random signal shaper.
