This invention relates to a process for concentrating aqueous solutions having temperature-sensitive components. More particularly, this invention relates to an improved process for concentrating aqueous solutions having temperature-sensitive components which comprises the steps of:PP(a) subjecting the aqueous solution to an ultrafiltration procedure to provide a permeate solution and a residual solution; andPP(b) subjecting the permeate solution from step (a) to freezing and removing ice crystals formed thereby.
