DISCHARGING STRUCTURE FOR DEPOSITS ON LAKE BOTTOM

PURPOSE:To discharge deposits on lake bottom with good efficiency by providing grooves of a shape such as to cause a swirl flow on the bottom of a dam. CONSTITUTION:The projection 4 of a concrete plate 1 having a groove 3 of a omega-shaped cross section is fitted into the recession 5 of another concrete plate 1. Plural combinations of the concrete plates 1 are laid on the place where soil and sand are to be deposited of the bottom of a dam 10. When the sand- flash pipe 10' of the dam 10 is opened, deposits such as soil are pressed by the pressure of water and passed through the grooves 3, during which period the deposites are discharged in a swirl flow from the tube 10'. Deposits near the concrete plates 1 are involved into the swirl flow in the grooves 3, carried into the tube 10', and discharge into river outside the dam 10.
