PURPOSE:To provide the titled analytical device which is automatically operated in short time of analysis and has high precision by combining a decomposition flask, a tube for cooling the decomposed liquid, a measuring flask, a detecting means, and a metering means. CONSTITUTION:A sample and a decomposing agent from an injector 5 are injected into a decomposition flask 1, and heated at about 80-120 deg.C for 10-30min (the symbol 12 is a heater) to form hydrochloric acid and boric acid from boron trifuuoride and hydrochloric acid form hydrogen fluoride. Demineralized water is then injected from an injector 7, and sent along with the decomposed liquid in the decomposition flask 1 to a measuring flask 3 through a cooling tube 2. Then glycerine is injected into the measuring flask 3 from the injector 7, and the hydrochloric acid and the boric acid in the flask 3 are quantitatively analyzed by using a potentiometer 4 while agitating the liquid with an agitator 11. The obtained values are treated with an arithmetic unit to obtain the quantities of boron grifluoride and hydrogen fluoride in the sample.
