SEAMLESS TUBULAR FILM WITH INNER SURFACE OF VINYLIDENE CHLORIDE RESIN

PURPOSE:The title film having uniform inner meat sticking and improved gas- barrier properties free from pinholes, manufactured by activating the inner surface of a seamless vinylidene chloride resin tube with a mixture of an aqueous albumin and starch. CONSTITUTION:A seamless tube, whose inner surface is a vinylidene cheoride resin, is activated with a mixture of an aqueous albumin and starch to give an add-on of 1.1-2.2 mg/cm2 and a haze of the treated film = 75%. If the add-on is 1.1 mg/cm2, a film unstable to the variation in the quality of meat is obtained. If the add-on is 2.2 mg/cm2, a film in the range causing the deterioration of gas-barrier properties and pinhole formation is obtained. EFFECT:Activity resistant to the variation in meat quality.
