VISCOSITY MEASURING INSTRUMENT FOR LIQUID AND AUTOMATIC VISCOSITY ADJUSTING METHOD USING SAID INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE:To make the easy and automatic measurement of viscosity possible by turning on and off a timer by the vertical movement of a float having a magnet so that liquid flows out of an outflow port. CONSTITUTION:A valve 9 of the outflow port 10 is closed and a valve of an inflow port 10 are opened by a control device 14 to admit the liquid to be detected into a guide pipe 4 up to the neighborhood of the atm. open port 15 thereof. An upper switch 6 provided near the port 15 starts the timer by responding with the magnet 2 provided to the float 3 so as to close the valve 9' of the inflow port 10 and to open the valve 9 of the outflow port 11 via the control device 14. The liquid flows out of the outflow port 11. A switch 6' stops the timer by responding with the magnet 2 when the float 3 moving according to the fall of the liquid level in the pipe 4 descends down to the position of the lower switch 6'. The time when the float passes between the upper and lower switches 6 and 6' positioned at the prescribed space is thereupon automatically measured, by which the viscosity at that temp. is known.
