PREVENTIVE OR REMEDY FOR MYCOPLASMOSIS OF DOMESTIC ANIMAL AND SWINE DYSENTERY

PURPOSE:To provide the titled preventive or remedy containing efrotomycin and bottromycin. CONSTITUTION:A preventive or remedy for mycoplasmosis of domestic animal or swine dysentery is produced by combining bottromycin and efrotomycin at a weight ratio of 1:10-10:1. A synergistic effect can be attained by the combined use of the above two components, and an agent having broad antibacterial spectrum and high activity and effective to mycoplasmosis of domestic animal and swine dysentery can be obtained by using the above components in amounts smaller than the case of the separate use of each component. It is administered in the form of powder, granule, liquid, suspension, premix, capsule, emulsion, tablet, etc. Water, lactose, sucrose, and various other animal feeds can be used as the carrier for the titled remedy.
