PURPOSE:To connect easily a measuring instrument of a BCD output to a computer by using a square wave oscillator at timing for writing a data to the computer by hand shake, converting BCD data to an ASCII, and simultaneously, sending out data successively by one digit each and laterally at every oscillation period. CONSTITUTION:When a command of a data input is executed from a computer provided with a GP-IB interface, UNL (unlisten), TA (talk address) and LA (listener address) are sent out successively to a data bus line of GP-IB as a command to a GP-IB bus line 26. when sending out data to the GP-IB bus line. BCD data of the first digit is set as low-order 4 bits, and as for high-order 4 bits, the high-order bit '0011' ('3' of BCD) of an ASCII code (8 bits) is set in advance, and sent out to a data bus 11 during an 'Hi' level of a time chart 'e' by simultaneous timing.
