CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR GP-IB INTERFACE

PURPOSE:To save the number of devices of a system by applying common interface control to plural interface control sections to exchange information between independent GP-IB interface system. CONSTITUTION:When the plural GP-IB system use a disc device in common, plural interface control sections 5-1-5-3 corresponding to the GP-IB systems 6-1-6-3 are provided and the entire device is controlled by a main control section 1 via an internal control bus 8. A storage section 2 stores data temporarily between the GP-IB interface control sections 5-1-5-3 and the disc control section 3, the disc control section 3 applies data write/read and the transmission/ reception of data with the storage section 2 and the GP-IB interface control sections 5-1-5-3 apply data transmission/reception and bus control information with the storage section 2. Then the GP-IB systems 6-1-6-3 seem as if they had the own disc units respectively.
