MECHANISM FOR PRINTING KANA ALONGSIDE CHINESE CHARACTER KANJI

PURPOSE:To print a document appearing natural to look at, by a method wherein upon printing a single KANA alongside a Chinese character, the position of the KANA is shifted to a central part of the Chinese character. CONSTITUTION:A line buffer 1 is sequentially scanned by a counter 2 to obtain data from the buffer 1. When a 'space' is detected, the count is returned to the preceding position, the content is momentarily saved into the buffer, a shifting code is automatically generated, and is automatically set at the position on the buffer 1. A logic for controlling buffer edition is added for updating the count and setting and editing the saved content at the updated position on the buffer 1. When the shifting code is detected from the content of the buffer edited by the edition-controlling part 8, a printer 9 prints the subsequent KANA at the central part of a Chinese character. Accordingly, a document appearing natural to look at can be printed.
