DETECTING METHOD OF RUNNING IRREGULARITY OF TYPE BELT

PURPOSE:To detect running irregularity of a type belt, by detecting a time interval between pulses of a timing signal corresponding to a type of a type belt. CONSTITUTION:A type belt is traveled and a timing mark is detected by a sensor 4. Then when a specific type arrives at a home position, a signal HOPS is sent out. A state of a changeover device 11 is inverted by detecting build-up of a first timing signal after signaling of the signal HOPS. The above-mentioned build-up signal starts a counter 12 and counts a clock pulse from a reference clock generator 14. When a next ranked timing signal is sent out and count is started by a counter 13 by inversion of the changeover device 11, the counter 12 stores a count value in a first memory 16. A time interval of two pulses adjoining to each other is detected extending over the whole circumference of a type belt and stored into the memory 16. A mean value of several rotations is stored in a memory 18.
