The imposition data is imposed in accordance with the form of the layout setting section 5 by the imposition treatment section 4, the converted into the internal code 6. The imposition result is writed on the image buffer 8 in accordance with the form of the internal code by the development section 7. The position in the letter imposing data buffer 3, which is indicated on the CRT picture by a comparison of the position coordinate inputted by the letter position input section 10, and the indicated position of each letter obtained as an output of the development section 7 is judged by the position judging section 11.
