PURPOSE:To make it possible to accomplish the chemical analysis of at least three items with the use of one optically analyzing tool and by one liquid sample applying operation by arranging at least three multi-layered chemical analysis materials of different kinds in a preset relationship. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of reagent layers 31 and 32 of different kinds are arranged in contact with or in thw vicinity of each other about a point 2 on a support plate 1. The layers 31 and 32 may contact with each other or may be separated at a spacing. A porous extended layer 40 preferably of a common single layer is laminated thereon. If a liquid sample S is applied to the upper side of the layer 40, it is extended to reach the layers 31 and 32 so that it develops or changes the color. After the reaction, the respective color densities are measured in the directions V1 and V2 in this order so that the chemical components in the sample S are quantitized.
