NOVEL ACTIVE SUBSTANCE ORIGINATED FROM GERMAN CHAMOMILE

摘要

PURPOSE:To prepare the titled substance by reacting the component of German chamomile essential oil with a base or an alkali. CONSTITUTION:A compound having analgesic, diaphoretic and anti-inflammatory activity can be prepared by reacting the component of German chamomile essential oil with sodium acetylsalicylate. The activity of the compound is about 5 times higher than that of the sodium acetylsalicylate. The reaction of the component of German chamomile essential oil with sodium bicarbonate gives a compound having antitumor activity.
