PURPOSE:To obtain a filter with ease of manufacture and ease of frequency adjustment by manufacturing a raw sheet including lead titanate piezoelectric porcelain powder and an organic binder, printing plural energy confinement electrodes or short-circuit electrodes to the surface of the raw sheet by means of conductive paste, the pressing the raw sheets incorporatedly and baking the pressed sheets. CONSTITUTION:The energy confinement electrode pairs 21, 21' and 22, 22' are formed in the inside of a piezoelectric porcelain plate 20 polarized uniformly in the broadwise direction in the energy confinement type filter and short-circuit electrodes 23, 23' opposed to each other while not being overlapped in the broadwise direction of the energy confinement electrode piezoelectric porcelain are provided. The energy confinement electrodes 21, 21' and 22, 22' and the short-circuit electrodes 23, 23' are printed onto the raw sheet 30 including piezoelectric porcelain powder and the organic binder by using the conductive paste by means of screen. The raw sheet printed with the electrodes and the raw sheet not printed with the electrodes are incorporated in the broadwise direction by thermal pressing and the sheets are baked in an electric furnace at a temperature of nearly 1,200 deg.C.
