摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent a flaw from occuring during barrel polishing and easily separate abrasive material from glasses ear pads by forming a swelled out head with buffering material such as gum at the one end of a strong magnetic plug member deeply inserted into the inserting hole of the glasses ear pad passing the plug member on a magnet head pulley. CONSTITUTION:A swelled out head 22 made of a buffering material such as resin or gum is formed at the one end of a strong magnetic thin stick 21 of a plug member 2 which can be deeply inserted into the temple inserting hole 11 of an ear pad 1 to prevent the damage of the ear pad 1 from being caused by its contact with another ear pad during polishing. The mixture of abrasive material W and a plug member ear pad T is charged into the hopper 10 of a belt type magnetic separator M from a barrel polishing machine and supplied on a belt 13. When the above mixture reaches on the magnet head pulley 11, a magnet acts on the plug member 2 of the ear pad 1. The ear pad T is therefore attracted by the pulley 11 to fall on the right side of a partition plate 14, and the abrasive material W falls on its left side. Consequently the ear pad T and the abrasive material W can be completely separated.
