PURPOSE:To enable measurement of variation of position in high accuracy by measuring the density of magnetic flux at nearly the center of the outermost height of a main winding coil. CONSTITUTION:In the case of the electromagnetic center positions of a primary and a secondary windings coincide, the variation of magnetic flux density due to the variation of position appears in a magnetic flux distribution curve at nearly the center height of a main winding cylinder and the density of magnetic flux is in proportion to the variation of position.
