The toy comprises a spool consisting of two rotating discs at the ends of a short core and two strings. The strings are secured to the outside of each disc and have their free ends connected to a ring. After rotating the spool whilst holding the rings to twist the two strings together at each end. - The spool can be made to spin to and fro by pulling the rings apart and relaxing them. A further string may have one end fixed to the core whilst its other end carries a ball or the like. Pulling and relaxing the rings will cause the ball to move up and down. (FL) (3pp Dwg.No.0/1)
