The weed-cutting boat comprises one or more floats with a mower at the front. It has one or more cylindrical rotary driven members (1) extending in the lengthwise direction with spiral-shaped protrusions (4) round the periphery. There is also a guide member parallel to and cooperating with it. The guide member can comprise a second cylindrical member with spiral protrusions of opposite pitch and driven in the opposite direction. Meanwhile at the stern there can be a collector cage for the cut weed and an elevator delivering from it.
