The firing chamber of the pistol barrel has a special outlet (1b), through which part of the explosive gases flow to a piston (3b). This cocks the firing hammer (7b) simultaneously with the rotation of the cartridge drum (5b). The outlet can be connected by a gas passage (2b) to the piston pressure chamber, while the piston is coupled by a rod (6b) to the firing hammer.
