摘要
The invention concerns a shock absorber for a hammer drill for rock, and specifically a drilling machine where the stroke is applied from above and to which drilling rods with shank joints have been connected through which the impact impulses and rotational forces are conveyed to the drilling rods. According to the invention, the shank joint consists of several pieces (19, 20, 21), which are coaxially connected inside each other in a radial direction. An impact- conveying piece (20) is placed innermost. The kinetic energy of the drilling machine's piston is transferred to the drilling rods in the form of a shockwave via this piece. A sleeve-shaped piece (21) consisting of at least a part is located farthest out. This piece has bearing surfaces (12, 14) and toothing (13) which work as control surfaces for the shaft joint. Between the innermost and outermost pieces, (20 and 21) there is a flexible piece (19) consisting of one or several parts and which is connected to these pieces (20 and 21). This piece (19) dampens the radial impact, which is formed when the shockwave advances, at which the principally hinders the shock-like load from being transferred to the outer support surfaces via the control surfaces (12-15). The sleeve-shaped piece (21) can be a uniform piece or it can consist of several parts that are axially located after each other, and the lengths of which to the axial lengths of the bearing surfaces (12 and 14) and the toothing (13). The flexible piece (19) is of an elastic material such as rubber, plastic or similar.IMAGE
