A steering control for an articulated vehicle has the articulated coupling (1) linked to a control cam (3) on the front of the trailer and linked to the rear axle by a cable drive (15). This pivots the rear axle in a controlled manner in the opposite way to the trailer deflection. The system provides more accurate tracking of the unit and trailer in confined roads. The additional steering control can be operated by a remote control or can be permanently connected. It prevents the trailer from dragging into the corners or from swinging out too far.
