A transport vehicle (10) with hydraulic vertical lifting devices, which are fast with the vehicle, for interchangeable bodies (20), and which have front and rear engagement means for lifting with the lifting devices and support means (24) for the body when separated from the vehicle, the front lifting devices (30; 32.1, 32.2) being disposed directly in front of the interchangeable body (20) and above the lower edge (21.3, 21.4) of the interchangeable body and the rear vertical lifting devices (45) being disposed in the region of the rear axle (14), characterised in that the front lifting devices are traction cylinders (32) and the rear lifting devices are thrust cylinders (45) of the same piston diameter and the same piston rod diameter, which cylinders are connected in a synchronising circuit in series in such a way that piston rod spaces (45.8) communicate with piston rod spaces (32.7) and piston spaces communicate with piston spaces (45.6, 32.6; 32.5; 45.5) and feed and return are connected either to piston rod spaces (32.8, 45.7) or to piston spaces.
