The apparatus consists of a frame (2) housing a number of containers (3) for solvent (4); vessels (5) in each container, holding a sample (6) for extraction; a heater unit (7) with temp. control (8) for adjusting the temp. of the heater by means of resistances; extraction columns (11) through which the solvent vapours rise.
