摘要

The process consists of (a) cultivating azobacter vinelandi cells or its mutants in Burk medium at 25-35 deg.C with a flow of sterile air; (b) drying and degreasing the cultivated cells and hydrolysing with NH2SO4; (c) neutralising the liq. prod. with lime; and (d) extracting the soluble fraction with ethyl alcohol and drying to obtain the active principle. It is highly effective in influencing the initial cellular reproduction period of various micro-algae types, e.g. chlorella, spirulina, or euglena, and of yeasts, e.g. saccharomyces cerevisiae.
