The ladle (1) has a bubble brick (3) which, as an annular body of revolution, surrounds the nozzle orifice (4) of the ladle. This allows the molten metal to be exposed to a treatment with flushing gas, to envelop the casting jet for protection and to fill the ladle with the flushing gas. IMAGE
