PURPOSE:To provide a herbicidal composition containing L-2-amino-4-methylphosphinobutyric acid derivative and a migration-type herbicide. CONSTITUTION:A herbicide containing (A) one or more compounds selected from L-2-amino-4-methyphosphinobutyric acid of formula I (X,Y are H, Na, K, Li, Cu, Mg, Ca, Zn, Ni, Mn, NH4, mono-, di- or tri-lower alkyl ammonium, ethanolammonium, or lower alkylene ammonium; m and n are integers representing the valences of X and Y, respectively.), its derivatives, and their acid addition salts, and (B) one or more componds selected from migration-type herbicidal compounds such as maleic acid hydrazide choline salt, phenoxy-type herbicides, etc.
