A mixing head for at least two liquids, particularly for polyurethane production, has a long and, in particular, cylindrical mixing chamber containing an axial purging piston; it has control pistons which enter the chamber and have passages for alternate (a) supply of the liquids to a nozzle feeding the chamber and (b) return for recirculation. These control pistons are set at an acute angle to the axis of the chamber so that their axes converge towards the outlet for the mixed materials.
