Production of lubricants, mould oils and drilling emulsions from environmentally friendly raw materials

To avoid the costs and environmental pollution due to mineral oil-containing lubricants, mould oils and drilling emulsions, oils and oil emulsions are produced based on vegetable, animal and synthetic esters. Auxiliaries used such as emulsifiers or thickeners are likewise preferably environmentally non-polluting substances. The oils and emulsions made up in this manner are rapidly biologically degradable, as a result of which environmental pollution is avoided and costs for disposal of the oils are reduced. By the use of esters as an oil base, the dependence on mineral oil importers decreases. By utilisation of appropriate raw materials, a favourable pricing is to be expected.
