The invention relates to a fly-milling tool for the fly-milling of posidrive cross-head screwdriver blades with four main webs forming, in plan view, a Greek cross, with a tool carrier which, in operation, can be driven to perform a rotary motion and has at least one fly-cutter tool. According to the invention, the fly-cutter tool comprises two triangular indexable inserts which are clamped on the tool carrier in such a way that in each case one of their cutting edges runs parallel to the axis of the tool carrier, the two cutting edges lying in alignment on a line parallel to the axis of the tool carrier. The distance between the mutually facing corners of the cutting edges is equal to the width of the main webs of the blades to be produced and is preferably adjustable.
