A method for producing a heat-insulated composite profiled track. This is particularly important if the end surfaces of the edge strips have grooved splines, which run in the longitudinal direction, before the groove web or webs is or are integrally formed into which grooved splines a fusion adhesive or a rubber thread or the like which is not completely cured is inserted, and the composite profile is not assembled until then by integral forming of the groove webs.
