An apparatus for gravimetric study of weight changes of grains of solids suspended freely in a liquid in a vessel comprising a balance and a suspension device are described, according to which a reaction vessel comprises a fixed beaker-shaped part and a basket which are linked to one another via a closure, the basket being rigidly connected to a weighing trapezoid which has a controllable electromagnetic lever system and a suspension clutch to the load arm of the balance.
