The invention proposes a building, in particular a residential building of the prefabricated-construction type, having a plurality of rooms, arranged in levels provided one above the other, and staircases leading to each level. The building comprises an inner tower arranged inside a lobby tower. A spiral staircase runs between these two towers. In order to form rooms in each level, the two towers are enclosed by an outer wall which forms a further tower, an outer tower. The building is terminated by a roof which is supported on the inner and/or lobby tower and by the outer wall.
