The method involves setting up vertical structure elements (P1-P3) i.e. columns, along a partial length of one of facades (F1, F'1) of a building (B), where the elements comprise two parallel faces including a lower section (Ti) with decreasing width. Habitation modules (Mb, Mn, MN, MT) with height combined with a stage height of the building are placed between the elements and integrated to the elements such that each level of the building laterally presents an additional floor surface formed by the habitation modules. An independent claim is also included for a rehabilitated building comprising a central structure.
