The appts. has at least on operating point (1,2,3), an X-ray generator (4) supplying the X-ray tube, an examination point and a print-out device (12) for recording the data obtained. The print-out device (12) is coupled to a data reader (13,14,15) at each operating point (1,2,3) for receiving the patient record data which is scanned by the reader (13,14,15) under control of the operator. Pref. the appts. has a series of operating points (1,2,3) each with its own data reader (13,14,15). These are coupled to the print-out device (12) via respective switches (18,19,20) coupled to a common selection control (17). The appts. allows the associated patient record data to be input for recording together with the X-ray data.
