Process for the improvement and cultivation of stony soils. The invention relates to a device making it possible to bury on the spot the stones present in a soil according to decreasing diameters by screening the excavated materials until a cultivation layer of fine granulometry 5 is obtained on the surface. It consists of a tilling part 1 discharging onto an elevating conveyor band 2 delivering the previously tilled soil onto a vibrating and inclined screen 3. The screening part consists of grids 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d ensuring size separation; the advance of the device ensures the layering of the sizes by reverse screening.
