The invention relates to a device for the automatic manual locking and unlocking in one position of a first and of a second member 1, 3 mounted pivotally relative to one another and capable of occupying two angularly different positions. This device comprises two flanges 6 able to be fixed in parallel to the said first member 1 leaving a free space between them, a rotation pin 10a joining one end portion of the said flanges, and an element 8 able to be made integral with the second member 3, this element 8 comprising a head 12 in the shape of a disc which passes through the said rotation pin 10a; the said head, having a recess 13 on one portion of its periphery, may receive a locking element 11 mounted so as to slide between the said flanges 6'.
