NICKEL-CHROMIUM ALLOY FOR DENTAL CASTING BED

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an Ni-Cr type alloy for a dental casting bed excellent in electrolytic polishing work effect, tensile strength, elasticity and corrosion resistance, obtained by containing Ni as a main component, adding Cr, Mo and other metals, and removing conventionally used and contained Be. CONSTITUTION:As an alloy for a dental casting bed, an Ni-alloy containing 15- 20% Cr, 10-15% Mo, 1-4% Al, 1-4% Mn, 0.0005-0.5% Ca, 2-5% Co and 0.0005-0.5% Y is used. Because noxious Be is not contained as this kind of the Ni-Cr alloy as is conventional, it is unnecessary to prevent dust generated during polishing work in a dental technical work room and this alloy is good in electrolytic polishing property and excellent in tensile strength, elasticity and corrosion resistance and discoloration resistance in an oral cavity.
