ROTARY MACHINE WITH EARLY FAILURE DIANOSING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To notify unusual running of a rotating body early to prevent said body from being fatally damaged, by installing a vibration detecting device, a comparator supplied a standard value inputted to be compared with a detected value by said vibration detecting device, and a warning device which notifies an extent of wear of bearings of said rotating body by output of said comparator. CONSTITUTION:Vibration detecting terminals 9-11, which are to detect vibration of a rotor 2 in both axial and radial directions are attached to said rotor 2 and a casing 1, 3, and signals from said detectors are output to a comparator 20. Said comparator 20 is previously supplied with an inputted standard frequency or frequencies, provided with a function to compute and compare said signals from said detectors 9-11 with said standard value(s), and is connected, to a warning device 30 by a signal cable 31. Due to the above constitution, if bearings 5, 6 are worn out causing vibration consequently, this unusualness can be notified early, and possible fatal damage of a rotating machine can be prevented in advance from occurring.
