SLIME DISCHARGING FOR MUD-WATER EXCAVATION WORK

PURPOSE:To suck up and discharge slime by jetting compressed air into a sludge sending pipe. CONSTITUTION:After mud-water excavation, a sludge sending pipe 6 having an air injector 12 projectionally provided inside is inserted into a floating layer 3 containing diffused slime on the bottom of a pit. Compressed air from a compressor 10 is jetted through the injector 12 into the pipe 6, where the slime is sucked into the pipe 6 and discharged to the outside of an excavated pit 1. The deterioration of concrete quality due to the presence of slime can thus be prevented, and the cost of discharging slime can be reduced.
