PURPOSE:To repidly measure three physical properties - surface tension, viscosity and density of a solution with a single system, by arranging a means of moving the solution within a measuring tube, a means of detecting the liquid surface thereof within the measuring tube, a weighing means and further a time measuring means. CONSTITUTION:A specified amount of a sample solution is sampled into a beaker 3 and allowed to stand on an electronic balance scale 2. A suction valve 6 is opened to suck up the solution to the position of an upper limit liquid level sensor 10 of the measuring tube 5. Meanwhile, the time to the arrival of the liquid surface of the solution at the upper limit sensor 10 from a lower limit liquid level sensor 9 is measured to determine the viscosity thereof, while the density thereof is determined by the decrease in the weight of the thereof, while the density thereof is determined by the decrease in the weight of the solution in the beaker 3.
