The arrangement has a measurement body (2-4) used to measure surface tension from moistening forces, viscosity from volumetric flow, torque and orthogonal forces and density from buoyancy forces and application technical properties and measurement parameters by measuring force-time-displacement combinations with respect to geometrical and surface properties of the measurement body in relation to the medium in a single working step. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of determining viscosity, surface tension, and density and application technical characteristics of a medium and a method for storing investigation data, parameters and physical measurement data on data media.
