PURPOSE:To represent a captain character, the picture information of graphic and the image information by a terminal side by reading a specific screen storing specific symbol by a computer added to a terminal equipment when the specific picture plane having the specific symbol is called from a keyboard of an user's terminal. CONSTITUTION:A specific symbol is inserted into the videotex communication system picture plane information. A specific picture plane formed by an inputting device IT is stored in a picture plane data file of a host computer of a information center. When this specific picture plane is called out through a videotex network as a required specific picture plane from a key pad of an user's terminal, a computer added to a terminal equipment GT reads the specific symbol. For instance, when the specific picture plane is called from a captain terminal equipment, a stand-by is executed at a start of a relevant block of a VTR image format in a VTR equipment through an interface by its specific symbol.
