BALLASTING CONTROL METHOD FOR FLOATING DOCK FOR LANDING DOCKED SHIP

PURPOSE:To make easy a landing operation of a docked ship, by controlling an amount of ballast water to be charged or discharged in a ballast tank, and adjusting trim and sill load of a floating dock. CONSTITUTION:A floating dock 1 including a plurality of ballast tanks T1a, T1b, T2a and T2b on which a docked ship 2 is loaded is supported at an end portion to the ground, and the docked ship 2 is landed. First, trim and buoyancy of the floating dock 1 is obtained, and weight of ballast water is calculated by a level meter of the ballast tanks. Then, weight of the docked ship 2 on the floating dock 1 is calculated by a position measuring means of the docked ship, and sill load is obtained by the weight of the docked ship and the buoyancy of the floating dock. Then, the amount of the ballast water is adjusted to obtain desired values of the sill load and the trim.
