PURPOSE:To easily and exactly load a film by placing the film on a supporting surface surrounded by a projection and a stepped part, and loading it to a film holder by making an engaging member approach each other. CONSTITUTION:A holder 10 is stretched to a natural state by releasing the engagement of a projecting piece 30 and a receptor piece 40, and the sheet film 50 to be developed is made to descend slowly by pressing one edge part and both corners of its edge part against a projection 18 and a stepped part 24, respectively. By this work, the sheet film 50 is placed on film supporting surfaces 20, 22, and also, its movement in the lateral direction is obstructed by the projection and the stepped part 24. Subsequently, by holding the projecting piece 30 and the receptor piece 40, respectively, with a finger, the sheet film 50 is made to approach so as to make round to the inside, inserted into the window 42 of the receptor piece 40 by holding the projecting piece 30 with a finger tip, and the finger is set free slowly from the projecting piece 30. By this work, the holder 10 is formed to a cylindrical shape, and this cylindrical holder 10 is inserted into a developing tank 52 and a cover is placed on it.
