DEVELOPER FOR ELECTROSTATIC COPYING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To remove talc from a photosensitive body and to satisfactorily maintain the state of forming a toner image by adding SiO2 and magnetite respectively within the range of prescribed weight % into a developer. CONSTITUTION:The SiO2 and magnetite are added into the developer and the weight % of the SiO2 and magnetite to be added is adjusted respectively to for example, 0.05-0.50wt% by the weight of a toner. Total sum of the SiO2 and magnetite to be incorporated is adjusted to =0.3wt%. The talc which is incorporated from the copying paper and stuck onto the sensitive body is thereby removed. As a result, the formation of stains such as black spots and black lines or fogged images, due to the phenomenon in which the developer absorbed to the talc sticking part is transferred to the surface of the copying paper in the succeeding transfer stage, is prevented.
