CONTROL SYSTEM FOR PRODUCT ADVANCE IN WORKSHOP FOR MANUFACTURING MANY KINDS OF PRODUCTS

PURPOSE:To simplify the control of product advance and enable the adjustment of the fluctuation of a production ratio by comprising a product advance control mechanism of a charging sequence planning means, a memory means, a control means and a discriminant means for a machining volume and a pallet for a completed product. CONSTITUTION:The charging sequence of parts to be produced is memorized by a charging sequence memory means 20. When a production stage has progressed to the completion of machining, a pallet for the concerned parts is transferred to a discriminant means 22 for a pallet containing machined parts by means of an automatic carrier 15. Said means 22 discriminates a system, a part and a work stage, and transmits the result of the discrimination to a charging sequence control means 23. This means 23, upon receipt of data from a recognition means 21 for parts under machining, instructs an automated store 17 and a preparatory station 16 as to the setup of workpieces to be processed by the minimum processing system. After the setup of the workpieces, the automatic carrier 15 is made to carry the pallet to a system wherein the minimum number of workpieces is loaded. If the finished pallet has any workpieces unprocessed, said means 23 instructs the preparatory station 16 about the setup for a subsequent process, thereby carrying back the pallet to the original system.
