METHOD AND INSTRUMENT FOR CONTINUOUS ANALYSIS OF PLURAL ANALYTICAL ITEMS

PURPOSE:To prevent the reanalysis to be executed to deal with the appearance of an abnormal specimen and the wasteful consumption of costly reagents by dispensing a reagent reactive component in the analyzing stage for the 2nd analytical item accord ing to the result of the photometry of the reaction for the 1st analytical item. CONSTITUTION:The reagent dispensing section 4 of an automatic continuous analyzing instrument 1 for plural analytical items having the reagent dispensing section 4 pro vided with at least the 1st and 2nd reagent dispensers 7, 8 and a photometric section along an intermittently movable reaction line 2 is provided with a light source and photometric instrument so as to sandwich the reaction line 2 in the position succeeding to the 1st reagent dispenser 7 and is provided with the 2nd reagent dispenser 8 of which one of the reagent suction side flow passages is communicated with the vessel for housing the reagent contg. at least one of the reagent reactive components contained in the reagent of the 1st reagent dispenser 7 in the position succeeding thereto. The reagent reactive component is dispensed in the analyzing stage for the 2nd analytical item according to the result of the photometry of the reaction for the 1st analytical item. The labor for the preliminary dilution or reanalysis, etc. of the specimen is thereby eliminated and the stable analysis with high accuracy is made possible.
